Regain your independence
INDEPENCE ON WHEELS is a new club designed to give individuals their independence back. We offer weekly meetups every Monday and Friday from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Our activities include friendly cuppas, visits to different local places, and occasional group meals out. Our goal is to help you connect with others and enjoy life to the fullest.
Who we help
Our campaign is dedicated to supporting mobility scooter users in Exeter and the surrounding areas. We are actively engaging with community leaders like Steve Beer and local councillors to ensure that our club meets the needs of its members and promotes a more inclusive environment for everyone.
Your safety is our priority
The most important thing we want people to know about this campaign is that everyone who uses a mobility scooter with us is safe. We meticulously plan all our outings, ensuring routes are flat, paved, and easy to navigate. Our social hubs are fully accessible, and group meals are held at local pubs and restaurants with level access. We strive to provide a secure and enjoyable experience for all members.
